Judging from the increased number of dog walkers since the Governor's Stay at Home Order was announced, I think it's safe to say that our pets are really enjoying these otherwise troubling times. I have certainly been taking solace in peaceful walks to Twin Oaks Park with our pooches. Unfortunately, the increase in dog walking appears to be accompanied by an increase in pet waste in some areas. Pet waste is a threat to human health and the health of the Bay, and it's no fun for those trying to keep their lawns well maintained. Please take a couple of extra bags with you when you walk your pet(s), and dispose of the waste properly.
